DETECT BS ("DON'T DELUDE YOURSELF") — END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This is commercial software. It is licensed, not sold.

Read this before installing or using the software. Installing or using it means
you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install it, and
request a refund.


1. WHAT YOU MAY DO

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to
install and use one copy of the software on computers you own or control, for
any purpose, including commercial work.

Output belongs to you. Any model you train, any engine file you save, and any
result or figure the software produces is yours. No claim is made over your
data, your trained engines, or anything you do with them.

You may make backup copies for your own use.


2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease or publish the
software or any part of it.

You may not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, except where that
restriction is prohibited by law that applies to you.

You may not remove or alter copyright notices.

You may not share your license key, if one is issued, or make the software
available to people who have not purchased it.


3. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of
this section may not apply to you. Where they do not, any implied warranty is
limited to the shortest period the law permits.


4. NOT ADVICE — READ THIS ONE

This software is a tool for testing predictive models. It does not give
financial, investment, medical, legal or professional advice of any kind, and
nothing it produces should be treated as a recommendation to do anything.

Predictions are estimates produced by a statistical model. They are frequently
wrong. The verification features exist specifically to help you find out when
they are wrong, and the software will tell you when a model performs worse than
doing nothing at all — but no verification can establish that a model will work
on data it has not seen.

Every decision you make using this software is your own. The author is not
responsible for the outcome of any decision, financial or otherwise, that you
make with it or because of it.


5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any lost
profits, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages arising from the software or its use, even if
advised that such damages were possible.

Total liability under this agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the
license.


6. TERM

This license lasts until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach
it. On termination you must stop using the software and delete all copies.
Sections 3, 4 and 5 survive termination.


7. GENERAL

This agreement is the entire agreement about the software and replaces any
earlier understanding. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in
effect.

THIRD-PARTY NOTICE

The engine and its verification layer are original work and contain no
third-party source. The software requires a Java runtime, which is licensed
separately by its own publisher; if a runtime is bundled with your download, it
remains subject to that publisher's license.
